My name is Aliana Aurora —a long and luminous name, given to me with love. I was born in Gibara, a small seaside town in Cuba, surrounded by waves, fishermen, and the purest form of affection from my family.

I grew up between two beautiful worlds: the humble warmth of my father’s family, and the refined values and grace of my mother’s side. My grandmother, “Mama “Pepa, Pepita, Josefa, my forever guiding star, was the one I chose to hand me my medical diploma—a symbol of perseverance, compassion, and the power of dreams. Together with my parents, Lucy and Fabio, she shaped my foundation of service, empathy, and love for humanity.

As a child, I lived between poetry and music. My guitar, my faithful “diva,” has always been my voice—my way of expressing joy, longing, and faith.

Yet, as life unfolded, destiny led me through unexpected paths. The aspiring pediatric neurologist from Old Havana became a Registered Nurse in Little Havana, Miami. And through the delicate science of behavior, I discovered a new passion—Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)—where compassion meets learning, and every child’s progress becomes a victory for the soul.
